Well they say this is the season of goodwill and it seems as though the Big Fish Games company have decided to spread a little festive joy by offering a 50% discount on all of their games. On the face of it this seems like a great deal and I think it could be if you are planning on giving games as gifts for someone else as you could save some money or, if you're feeling really generous, splash out and get two games for the price of one!

I personally like Big Fish Games and have downloaded games from them, especially as I think that in some cases it can work out quite well to get a game you like on the cheap. An example of this is the Brain Challenge Game. Now you can also get this game for Nintendo DS , but I haven't splashed out on a console yet because I haven't been able to get a deal that suits my budget and I figured that I could get lots of cheap games to download and enjoy in the meantime...

Plus, if you are a regular casual gamer I think it's worth joining the Game Club so that you can get games for much less. When you get your own Big Fish Games Space you can also earn rewards when you share your favorite games, which is great because you can then get more games with your rewards. This is not forgetting that you can actually get two free full game downloads when you sign up for a free Game Space.

Their "try-before-you-buy" option is also good as it's nice to be given the option to see how much you really like a game before make the decision to buy it and they have a pretty good Free Online Games Community too. It's all a case of personal preference and at the end of the day, as with all things, it depends on which option suits you best.

You can check out the Big Fish Games Home Page yourself to see if you think the offer is worth it or whether you think it's a better option to get your own Game Space and earn free games.

Wishing you all the best for the festive season and beyond!
